How I became who I am today
Growing up
Born in a country that no longer exists, I learned as a child that systems that do not value the people they are built for are designed to break down.
Raised by an entrepreneurial couple, I learned first-hand that the future can be designed, not just experienced. Not because it's easy, but because it's worth it.
Growing up as a digital native, starting in the era of 56 kbps, I've seen the exponential evolution from a simple cursor to today's voice interaction - and how adaptation is a necessary condition for value creation.
On the one hand, I have studied from the ancient Greeks to modern logicians to fathom the reasons for our existence. And on the other, the blood in the veins of our world systems to understand the interdependencies of our societies.
Professional Growth
I decided early on that I wanted to shape the transformation of those industries that are complex but where the value to people is greatest - so I have consulted mainly in the public sector, but also in social services and banking sector.
Humans, not technology, are the reason for digital transformation. I firmly believe that only services and processes that are designed and built from the perspective of the people who use them will create lasting positive change.
Obviously, co-creation is critical to the success of the work I am involved in, so digital collaboration tools and agile frameworks inspired me early on to become a New Work enthusiast.
Now I'm a father of two and a leader of many, trying to be as approachable, open and serving as possible to help those around me grow.
